What time will you be at my home?

We operate with set service days to keep costs low and do not provide specific time of day for our service. We work from 7:00 AM until dark. You'll get a text about 60 minutes before arrival, or 15-30 minutes if you're first on the route. Your day remains consistent weekly, and we'll notify you of any changes in advance.

Do I need to be home for pooper scooper services?

You do not need to be home during the appointment; as long as your dogs are secured inside, we will service your yard.

Where does the waste go?

Collected waste bags will be double bagged & disposed of in the designated garbage can. If we are unable to access the garbage can, we will place the waste bag in a designated spot within the yard and notify the you upon completing our scoop.

How do I pay for service?

Our service starts by prorating the first month you begin with us. Afterward, you'll be set on convenient auto-pay, with monthly payment automatically billed on the 1st of every new month. Think of it as a hassle-free, ongoing yard care subscription!

How much does service cost each month?

Our pricing is set as a consistent monthly rate, so you don’t have to worry about months with a different amount of days or weeks. We calculate this by taking your per-visit price and multiplying it by the total number of visits per year (for example: 52 for weekly service, 26 for biweekly), then dividing that total by 12 months. This keeps your payments predictable and consistent, making it easier to budget without worrying about surprise costs or extra charges in longer months. With this structure, you get reliable service at a steady price, giving you peace of mind and no risk of overspending.

What if I need to make any changes?

You can easily update your information (such as changing service frequency, or the number of dogs) by contacting our main office line found at the bottom of this page.

What if my lawn care company comes on the same day?

Due to our high volume of clients, we cannot offer early or rescheduled time slots. Our team services many clients daily, and we are unable to adjust our schedule to accommodate lawn care companies. It is the customer's responsibility to coordinate the schedule of the lawn care company accordingly.

Weather & Snow Policy

NLC Scoops operates 12 months a year and will always show up when weather conditions are safe regardless of rain, snow, or other unfavorable weather conditions. If we are unable to provide service for one week due to unsafe conditions, we will perform double duty the following week and you will still be charged for the full month. This is because there is just as much pet waste and time spent on each yard.

Clients who maintain their subscription throughout the winter will not be charged for a spring cleanup when all of the snow melts and will continue with their subscription plan with locked-in rates. Our company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a service appointment in the event of inclement weather. We consider inclement weather to be any weather condition that poses a safety risk to our employees, such as lightning, thunderstorms, high winds, or heavy snow.
